Privacy.

Open Tangents is a static publication. It has no visitor accounts, comment forms, advertising trackers, or visitor analytics scripts.

Hosting and connection data

Cloudflare hosts and delivers this website. As part of serving and protecting it, Cloudflare processes connection information such as IP addresses, request details, and browser information. This publication does not claim that visiting a website is anonymous. See Cloudflare’s privacy policy for its practices.

Local preferences

If you choose a light or dark theme, your browser stores that preference locally. It is not sent to an analytics service. You can clear it through your browser’s site-data settings.

Search

Search uses a static index downloaded to your browser. Queries are processed locally. Requests for index files still pass through the hosting provider.

Links and sharing

References and sharing links take you to other websites, which have their own privacy policies. Sharing links do not contact those services until you choose to follow them. Fonts are hosted here rather than requested from an external font service.

Changes

If the publication adds features that collect information, this policy will be updated to describe them. The date above records the latest revision.
